Accessories for Cleaning, Correcting and Protecting

Interior Clean

Often overlooked, at E-Valence, we recommend starting with an internal clean when detailing any vehicle. A thorough vacuum, followed by a carpet clean using E-Valence Carpet Cleaner, sets the standard for the rest of the detailing process.

– A Vacuum Cleaner

– A soft brush

– A couple of moist 270 – 330GSM microfibre cloths

– E-Valence Carpet Cleaner

Follow this with a comprehensive cleaning and conditioning of the seats, doors, and dashboard. To help with this, you will need a Leather and Fabric Brush, a Puk Applicator, a Medium Sponge, and two Microfibre Cloths (270-330GSM). Use the brush to agitate the cleaning process on the seats, doors, and dash. Use the Puk Applicator and sponge to apply the leather crème to the seats and door jams. Finally, use the microfibre cloths to wipe everything over after completing the process.

For cleaning the dash, use either E-Valence Leather Cleaner with Antimicrobial or E-Valence Instant Detailer. To assist, use the brush for agitation if necessary and the microfibres to wipe over upon completion.

Wash

The actual carwash should be done second in the detailing process. At E-Valence, as part of this process, we suggest cleaning the wheels first. Therefore, our washing approach recommends using two different coloured Microfibre Wash Mitts: a blue or light-coloured Microfibre Wash Mitt for the car and a black Microfibre Wash Mitt for agitation during the wheel wash.

Nothing beats a good wash mitt, and the E-Valence Microfibre Wash Mitt is the best in the business.

Avoid using sponges, cotton singlets and equivalents. These types of cleaning accessories push contaminants over the paint, leaving swirl marks.

The main benefit of the microfibre wash mitt is that it lifts dirt off the surface while cleaning.

Dry off using a high-quality drying towel. At E-Valence, we provide several options. A great starting point is the Luxury Drying Towel.

Polish

The polishing process is arguably the most complex when making corrections to your vehicle’s surface.

To make the most of your time, you should consider purchasing the following.

Random Orbital Free-Spinning Polisher. There are several brands on the market. At E-Valence, we would recommend Flex and Milwaukee. Both companies offer cordless options.
At least two different grade polishing pads: one medium and one fine foam pad to provide options for polishing application.
E-Valence Ultra-Fine Polish (Acrylic Paint) and E-Valence Intermediate Polish (Two Pac Paint)
270-330GSM Microfibre Cloths for removing the polish residue.

Some additional accessories you may consider when cleaning and polishing chrome and stainless-steel wire wheels.

An Electric Toothbrush, use a children’s head. If you are borrowing your wife’s, we recommend you give it a good clean before returning it.
Superfine Steel Wool
Cotton buds to get into the hard-to-reach areas.
220-330GSM Microfibre Cloths. Consider cutting some of them into strips for easier use.

Protect

The protection process should be the most thorough and the most rewarding, as you will witness the high lustre coming through—something you will not witness with ceramic coatings and Vinyl wrapping.
