Clean the surface to be polished before applying the polish.
As with all polishing, a conservative approach is recommended.
Start with a medium pad and a slow speed on your polisher.
Change to a faster speed or harder pad if necessary.
Clean off any residue between application.
Ensure the surface to be polished is cleaned before application.
Always use new or clean polishing pads.
Take your time until you are acquainted with the polish, pad, and mechanical polisher.
Polish in an extended pattern when addressing swirl marks, and especially when correcting medium scratches.
Ensure the polishing pad is clean before you start and thoroughly clean it during and after use.
The pad may be cleaned during the process by turning the polisher on and holding a nylon shoe brush to the pad.
After the polishing process, wash the pad thoroughly in water.
A Gritguard Cleaning System is recommended if available.
