Rubber seals and hoses are often overlooked when cleaning and maintaining cars, boats, bikes, and aircraft. Appropriate and regular maintenance will prolong their operational life. Additionally, rubber scuttles (often called scuttle drains), quite common in today’s cars, will fade over time, especially when exposed to the harsh Australian sun.
