Rubber seals, hoses and gaskets are often neglected during cleaning and maintenance of cars, boats, bikes, and aircraft. Proper and regular upkeep will extend their lifespan. Additionally, rubber scuttles (scuttle drains), which are common in some modern cars, will fade over time, especially when exposed to the harsh Australian sun.

Repeated UV exposure causes seals to dry out, become brittle, and crack over time.

Depending on the quality of the rubber or plastic, this can happen soon after manufacture.

Directions for use

– Wash your vehicle first with E-Valence Wash’n Seal with Carnauba Wax.
Dry the vehicle so that you may get a better appreciation of the rubber you are about to treat. (NB: as this is a water-based product, the rubber doesn’t need to be completely dry.)
Apply an appropriate amount of Rubber Rejuvenator to a microfibre cloth or foam sponge and wipe over the seal, hose or gasket.
Ensure you wipe the product into the rubber.
Give the rubber surface one final wipe over with a slightly moist or dry cloth.
Job Done!
